New Harvest is a young and growing church which first met on Easter Sunday, 2002. Beginning with a band of a few believers, New Harvest has grown considerably since its birth. New Harvest was started as a mission of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, in Edgerton, Missouri. Additionally New Harvest received financial support from the North American Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention and support from the Missouri Baptist Convention. The members of New Harvest understand that a church is about people and not a building. We are building a community of believers to work together to fulfill God's purpose in our lives. Though we do not currently have our own building, the church is meeting in the Mid-Buchanan School until a permanent church facility can be built. The church has purchased ten acres of property on the northeast corner of Highways A and O in southern Buchanan county.
New Harvest invites those who do not have a church home to visit us in our many activities. New Harvest is a friendly and caring church which is committed to teaching God's Word and experiencing the truth of God's love. We are a church with a purpose and vision. We are a church with an exciting future of hope. Come experience the difference! |
